HOSPICE CARE

When you or a loved one face the challenge of a serious illness, Hudson Valley Hospice is here to help. For more than 45 years, we have provided a full spectrum of compassionate care and family support services to individuals in Dutchess and Ulster Counties who are faced with a life-limiting illness.

At home, in a nursing facility, or in one of our local area hospitals, Hudson Valley Hospice will help both the patient and their loved ones understand and manage as the illness progresses. Hospice care is a benefit provided under Medicare Part A, Medicaid, Veterans Administration benefits, and most commercial insurance plans. Through the generosity of the community to our Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation, financial assistance may also be available to cover the cost of hospice care.

HUDSON VALLEY HOSPICE PROVIDES:

Hospice Care

Our plan of care reflects our mission to enhance the quality of living for those near the end of life. We help individuals to stay safe at home, avoid hospitalizations, and to maintain comfort and dignity. Almost all the families that have used hospice services say that they wished that they had called hospice sooner. The sooner the patient, family, and doctor choose hospice care, the quicker we can initiate our full range of services.
