Dr. Albert Riddle as Hudson Valley Hospice’s Chief Medical Officer, is responsible for the leadership, oversight and management of the medical component of hospice care.  In addition, he is responsible for the supervision of hospice’s medical staff and nurse practitioners, as well as, the coordination of clinical support activities with Hudson Valley Hospice’s hospital and nursing home liaison staffs.

Hudson Valley Medical Health Choices, a community based palliative care practice that is affiliated with Hudson Valley Hospice is also under Dr. Riddle’s leadership.

Dr. Riddle is a long term care physician and educator, and is the founder and president of the Riddle Medical Group, which provides medical direction, primary care services and quality assurance consulting to long term care facilities. He was awarded the designation of Certified Medical Director by the American Medical Directors Association and serves on their National Clinical Practices Guidelines Committee. Dr. Riddle also serves as the Medical Director in a number of local skilled nursing facilities.

John G. Bentley, MD

Dr. Bentley is a Fellowship trained specialist in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, which was pursued after a short retirement. Prior to coming to Hudson Valley Hospice, he was Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and he holds a subspecialty certification in Pain Management. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise in physical medicine, rehabilitation and interventional pain management. He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Indiana University School of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident. He further honed his skills through an Interventional Spine/Pain Fellowship at Orthopedic Specialists of the Carolinas.

Dr. Bentley has held prominent positions at esteemed institutions, including Duke University Department of Orthopedics and Piedmont Spine Specialist, where he served as co-owner. His professional affiliations include the North American Spine Society and the American Academy of Pain Medicine.

Stacie Chasin, MD

Dr. Chasin is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician, with over 15 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient care. She is currently employed at Bon Secours Medical Group, as well as St. Anthony’s Community Hospital in Warwick, NY.

After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Chasin went on to pursue her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Science degrees from the American University of the Caribbean, then completed the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the Canton Medical Education Foundation.

She is a New York State Licensed Physician and holds ABIM, New York State Infection Control, and ECFMG certifications. Currently, she resides in Goshen, NY.

Supriyo Das

Supriyo Das, MD, HMDC

Hudson Valley Hospice

Dr. Supriyo Das completed his medical education at Odessa State Medical University in the Ukraine before pursuing medical research and Post Doctoral Research Fellowship at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.

He currently serves as a Palliative Care Physician at the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System, and MidHudson Regional Hospice. Dr. Das is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr Peter Fish

Peter N. Fish, MD, HMDC

Hudson Valley Hospice and Hudson Valley Medical Health Choices, PC

Dr. Peter Fish is Board Certified in Internal and Geriatric Medicine and is also Hospice Medical Director Certified.   An Army Medical Officer and Flight Surgeon, Dr. Fish served as a physician assistant in the army for 15 years before attending medical school and becoming a physician.  He has deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan and served as a medical officer in many natural disasters including Hurricane Katrina and was activated by the Army during the COVID Emergency to provide oversight of medical logistics in New York State and medical oversight of the Javits Center Vaccine site, all while attending to patients (via telemedicine) in over twelve states.

He lectures at St. George’s School of Medicine and the Marist College Physicians Assistant Program in Poughkeepsie.

Dr. Garcia has been licensed in New York State for the past 35 years and has served uninterrupted at Lawrence Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital in Bronxville, NY as a House Physician for 30 of those years. As a result of his dedication, in 2018 he was awarded Physician of the Year from NYP/Lawrence Hospital. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from New York University, he went on to obtain his Medical Degree from UAG School of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at New Rochelle Hospital.

Dr. Garcia currently will be completing his fourth year with Hudson Valley Hospice.

Dr. Steven B. Jacobs

Steven B. Jacobs, DO

Dr. Steven Jacobs has worked in the Hudson Valley for nearly three decades as an internist, Medical Director, and geriatrician. Since 1996, he has been affiliated with Saint Francis Hospital and Vassar Brothers Medical Center and currently serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at New York Medical College. Dr. Jacobs serves as the Attending Physician at the Hudson Valley Hospice House, for the Geriatric Residency Program from Northern Dutchess Hospital, and mentors the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellows from Vassar Brothers Medical Center during their rotations.

Dr. Jacobs received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biological Studies from SUNY Binghamton, and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He currently resides in New Paltz, NY.

Alison Greene, FNP-C, ACHPN

Alison Greene brings extensive global health experience to her hospice work. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Niger, West Africa, where she worked in a small rural health clinic providing community-based care. She also supported international health programs in the Horn of Africa through her work with Save the Children in the United Kingdom. Alison is deeply committed to improving the patient and family experience at the end of life, bringing compassion, dedication, and a strong background in global healthcare to her hospice practice.

Alison holds a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics, Nutrition, and Food Science from the University of California, Berkeley, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University, and a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Pace University. She currently resides in Rhinebeck, New York.

Nikesha is an RN and Family Nurse Practitioner who is truly devoted to patient advocacy. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Andrews University, and her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of South Florida.

Prior to joining our team full-time, she worked for our organization as a Weekend Visit RN. She was also previously employed as a Nurse Practitioner at the Saugerties Wellness Center, and as a Nurse Practitioner at the Institute for Family Health in Ellenville, NY.

Nikesha is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and has received several Excellence in Service Awards. Currently, she resides in Lake Katrine, NY.

Laura Coryat

Laura Coryat, RN, MS, ANP-C, ACHPN

Laura is a Nurse Practitioner with over fifteen years of experience in her field. She holds an Associates Degree in Nursing from Ulster Community College, as well as a Master of Science, Adult Nurse Practitioner Degree from Stony Brook University. Additionally, she is certified in Infection Control and Barrier Precautions and Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is professionally affiliated with The Society for Hospital Medicine, The National Kidney Foundation, and The Nurse Practitioner Association of New York State.

Outside of work, Laura is a highly accomplished sculpture artist, and possesses a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Ceramic Sculpture from the University of Connecticut, and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Ceramic Sculpture from SUNY New Paltz. She is currently employed as an Adult Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist at Northern Dutchess Hospital, and resides in Rhinebeck, NY.

Robin Ellis, ANP-BC, ACHPN

Robin is an empathetic clinician skilled at traversing dynamic healthcare environments, and is dedicated to providing top-tier care through building inclusive care plans and helping patients and families navigate end-of-life care. She is currently employed by StationMD, a telemedicine company serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Prior to that, she worked at the University of Southern California Medical Center in Los Angeles as a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner.

She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Public Policy Analysis from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her Master of Science degree in Nursing from California State University. Robin is a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner and is proficient in the use of the spoken Spanish language. Currently, she resides in Kingston, NY.

Marsha is a compassionate, quality focused nurse practitioner with experience in outpatient and long-term care for adults and older adults of all socioeconomic backgrounds. She is currently employed by the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Danbury, CT, and holds certifications as an Adult Health Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Practitioner (MA), Advanced Practice RN (TX), and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.

She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Oberlin College, and her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Boston College. Marsha’s work has been featured in several publications and she currently lives in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Amoy Hines, BSN, MSN, NP-C

Amoy is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. She possesses an exceptional track record for patient advocacy, and is currently affiliated with Medelite Medical Group where she manages patients with complex medical and psychosocial needs. Over the course of her career, she has worked in a number of disciplines, including medical/surgical, infection control, rehabilitation and long term care and oncology.

In addition to holding both Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Science Degrees in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary College, Amoy also is also a Doctor of Nursing Practice student at Grand Canyon University. She is an active member of both the American Nurse Practitioners Association and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society (Mu-Epsilon Chapter) and is constantly seeking out tools to continue her medical education. Currently, she resides in Newburgh, NY.

Dina Kravtsov, FNP

Dina is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly a decade of hospice experience, bringing clinical expertise and a whole-person approach to the care of patients and families at the end of life. She began her career in hospice as a Registered Nurse, and went on to earn her FNP from Pace University.

Committed to expanding the depth of her practice, Dina has pursued advanced training in herbalism, Ayurveda, and integrative medicine, including a functional medicine residency, as well as a certificate in holistic nutrition. Beyond hospice, she helped create a community health clinic in Kingston through O+ and maintains a private practice, Upstream Medicine, through which she continues to offer integrative, holistic care to her community.

Lauren Lundy

Lauren Lundy, MSN, FNP-C, ACHPN

Hudson Valley Hospice

Lauren is an experienced Hospice Nurse Practitioner, having worked in the areas of cardiology, internal medicine, bariatric surgery, and occupational medicine prior to joining Hudson Valley Hospice in 2018. As an RN, she worked for years at Danbury Hospital in the emergency department and previously at Mount Sinai Medical Center in neurology/neurosurgery and in the ALS research clinic.

She started her collegiate education at the University of Florida, where she graduated with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation, and worked in long-term spinal cord and brain injury rehab. While working in that field, she pursued her BSN from Mount Saint Mary College in 2003 and then her MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner from Duquesne University in 2010.

She maintains her national NP certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has her Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse certification.

She resides in southern Dutchess County and enjoys spending her personal time doing activities with her family and traveling to various locations.

Charlene is an Advance Practice Registered Nurse, and Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She possesses a diverse history of work experience, ranging from the hospital emergency room to the college classroom, and is currently certified to prescribe medicine. After receiving her Associate of Science in Nursing Degree from Dutchess Community College, she went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Mount Saint Mary College, as well as a Masters of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Pace University.

She formerly served as an Adjunct Clinical Nursing Instructor for nursing students at Mount Saint Mary College, and resides in Wallkill, NY with her family.

Jamie Rusek is an On Call Nurse Practitioner for Hudson Valley Hospice. Jamie earned her AGNP degree from Mount Saint Mary’s.

Outside of work, Jamie is passionate about art, and also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Painting from Temple University, as well as a Master of Professional Studies in Art Therapy from Pratt Institute. She currently resides in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Bernadette Ryan is a Nurse Practitioner for Hudson Valley Hospice and Hudson Valley Medical Health Choices. She is an accomplished and energetic individual with a proven track record of achievement in the management of acute and chronic illnesses.

After receiving her Associates Degree in Applied Science from Dutchess Community College, she went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science Degree from SUNY New Paltz, as well as her Master of Science Degree from Mount Saint Mary College.

She has worked at a number of local area hospitals and walk-in clinics, including MidHudson Regional Hospice and CareMount Urgent Care in Fishkill. She is also AANP Certified, a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as well as the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Currently, Bernadette resides in Hopewell Junction, NY.
