ANTICIPATING AND COPING WITH GRIEF AND LOSS
In times of long term illness and death, people sometimes need support in understanding and coping with the potential loss and ultimate loss of a beloved community member. Hudson Valley Hospice recognizes the need and offers a community conversation, Anticipating and Coping with Grief and Loss.
Available on request at your location, the presentation explores common experiences leading up to and after death of a loved one, acknowledging that grief is the natural human response to loss. The importance of seeking support and understanding during this period will be highlighted, reinforcing that grief is not something to be “fixed” but rather a human experience requiring empathy and community.
