If so, Hudson Valley Hospice invites you to take the first step towards a fulfilling future through our no-cost New York State approved Home Health Aide (HHA) training program!
We are proud to offer in-person HHA training at our Poughkeepsie office for individuals who qualify. These courses are led by experienced instructors in a supportive, hands-on learning environment designed to help you feel confident, prepared, and inspired. Whether you are brand new to healthcare or looking to build upon an existing certification such as PCA or CNA, we have multiple training opportunities throughout the year to meet you where you are on your journey.
• Three Week Intensive Training Course
– May 4th to 20th
– August 3rd to 19th
– November 2nd to 18th
• Five Day PCA to HHA class
– June 15th to 19th
– September 14th-18th
• Two Day CNA to HHA Class
– March 3rd & 4th
– July 8th & 9th
– October 7th & 8th
During the program, you’ll gain essential skills in patient care, infection control, and compassionate support. Upon successful completion of the training and passing the exam, you will earn your NYS HHA certification, a portable credential in a growing, high-demand field.
